Water is absolutely essential for the normal functioning of the skin and especially its outer layer the Stratum Corneum (SC). The loss of water from the skin must be carefully regulated to maintain the maturation of the SC and to desquamation of the skin. Until now it depended on two major elements:
1. The presence of natural hydration factor (amino acids, fatty acids, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, etc.)
2. Intercellular lipids aggregated to form a barrier against trans-epidermal water loss.
But the advent of the skin microbiota has reshaped the cards. Indeed, a stable and symbiotic skin microbiota produces polysaccharides that increases water retention and improves the barrier effect of the skin. As a result, the skin dries less and wrinkles or fine lines fade. The microbiome of human skin, that is, all skin microorganisms and their metabolites maintain a delicate and essential balance responsible for the health of the skin and its appearance.
Cutaneous microbiota imbalances (dysbiosis) are associated with several skin conditions, whether they are pathological (atopy, acne, eczema, allergies, dandruff, etc.), or not pathological such as sensitive, irritated or dry skin.


Symbiotechnology allows the creation of new cosmetic ingredients from aromatic and medicinal plants but also from the juice of plants (soya, oats, almonds, hazelnuts...). The symbiotic cosmetic products regulate and regenerate the diversity and resilience of the skin microbiota and ensure the coherence of the skin's stratum corneum. KEFI' avena

KEFI'AVENA is a freeze-dried powder of oat juice in symbiosis resulting from Symbiotechnology. This fermentation is ensured by a specialised KEKOM ferment which inhibits the anti-nutritional factors of oats, increases anti-oxidant activities and facilitates the digestibility of proteins by developing essential amino acids (L-glutamine, tryptophan...). Minerals (calcium, magnesium, iron...) are better assimilated. B vitamins (B6, B9 and B12) are rapidly absorbed. 
 KEFI'AVENA develops symbiotic molecules that sustainably modulate the diversity and resilience of the intestinal microbiota. The symbiosis fermentation improves the solubility of beta-glucans so that they offer numerous health benefits.
